Ajit pawar of NCP party in Maharastra govt has been removed as chairman of NCP legislative party.
MUMBAI: Ajit Pawar, chairman of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), who took the oath this morning as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, was removed as chairman of the NCP's legislative party.
The action shortly after NCP chief Sharad Pawar indicated that his nephew Ajit Pawar had become a villain and said that he had made a "personal decision" that was not supported by the party.

According to reports, Ajit Pawar provided Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari letters of support for all 54 NCP MLAs before he was sworn in.Ajit Pawar was part of the effort to form a Shiv Sena-NCP Congress Alliance and had attended most meetings with his uncle in recent days.

Even last night, Ajit Pawar had attended the first joint session of Sena, NCP and Congress. According to the Sanjay Raut of Senas, Ajit Pawar's "body language" was suspicious and he disappeared shortly thereafter, his phone was unreachable.Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule said in WhatsApp News that she felt "betrayed" and her family and party split up.
